Sergey Boyarchukov graduated from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Faculty of Law. His professional career began at the position of senior lawyer of JSC “Kyivenergo”, where he was soon appointed as Head of Legal Department. Later on he held the position of the Chairman of Legal Department of the State Enterprise “Energorynok” and eventually became Head of Legal Department of this enterprise. During his work at KPMG at the position of Senior Specialist, Sergey Boyarchukov headed auditing of electric power wholesale market.
In 2003 Sergey Boyarchukov together with Sergey Alekseev established Attorney’s Association “XXI century” specialized in dispute resolution through litigation. In 2005 the partners founded Law Offices “Alekseev, Boyarchukov and Partners” which specializes in bankruptcy and debt restructuring, corporate governance, dispute resolution through litigation and arbitration. In November of 2014 Sergey Alekseev left the company as he was elected People’s Deputy of Ukraine of the 8th convocation, entirely leaving management of the company to Sergey Boyarchukov.
Sergey Boyarchukov is a recognized expert in the area of bankruptcy and debt restructuring, banking and finance law, dispute resolution through litigation. Ranking “Top 50 law firms of Ukraine” named Sergey Boyarchukov as one of the leading lawyers in the area of bankruptcy many times, and based on findings of the research “Client’s Choice: TOP 100 of the best lawyers of Ukraine” Sergey Boyarchukov entered the list of one hundred best lawyers in the country in 2015.
